Camp fire starter

I recycle used candles into these handy-dandy stubby candles for fire starters.  We saw them in a crafty gift shop once, the wax was mixed with saw dust and wood chips.   It works well, single match start, no paper necessary, stays ready to use even with high humidity.

Wood is expensive here: $7 for 6 pieces.  We are limited to these little fireplaces - maybe a good idea at these prices.  Due to my cheap nature, I take a walk in the morning looking for leftover wood from campers who have left.  So far we are well stocked.
